Stay Cool Kids

Hey guys! Today I want to talk about something that is very upsetting...trying to look good when its a million degrees outside. I don't know about the rest of you, but here in Virginia we are averaging 92 degree weather everyday. The grass is so dry it is brown. It's the kind of heat you can see rising up from the pavement, not good if you are trying to look dead sexy. I wanted to share some products. First is my Mac Liquid eyeliner. Rochelle will tell you my liquid eyeliner is my crack. This stuff is so good and so long lasting I can actually go to bed with it, take a shower, and just touch up the edges. Its THAT long lasting (although I wouldn't recommend doing that often) It lasts in the pool, the lake, probably the ocean if I had gone their this summer (but I'm not bitter). It is amazing!!! Next is probably a weird one. I really like the Nivea Sensitive Skin cream for men. It is very light weight and does not make your face feel any more greasy during the hot humid summer months. It also has no harsh chemicals so it won't break you out. Another item I am really enjoying is Victoria Secret's New Summer Clean Scent collection. All three scents last all day and don't get that funky sour smell when you've been sweating. Plus with the bulk deals they have you can try them all! Another product I have recently come back to is Cover Girl Powder Foundation. I used it like crack in high school and sort of stopped for whatever reason. I was in Walmart the other day and decided I would try it again and I LOVE it. It stays on a long time and controls oil really well. It totally makes sense why its been a Cover Girl staple for years and years. The last thing I have been enjoying is all of the great Summer Nail polish collections that have come out. I bought several from the Opi Shrek Collection, and I am in deep love with Essie's Pretty Edgy. All these bright Easter egg colors make me think of Spring instead of summer though. Makes me want to eat Peeps and watch "It's the Easter Beagle Charlie Brown." I guess in the meantime I will watch my usual Lifetime Movies and eat Freez-E-Pops. LOL
